This project is an interpretive model of the Leacock Building on the McGill University downtown campus. The model explores light and shadow and is made to appear both heavy and weightless at the same time, like the Leacock Building itself. The many hexagonal forms that appear in the model are inspired by the architects' own use of these forms in their building's design, particularly in its plan, which contains almost exclusively 120° angles on the building's lower levels where students gather.
