Jonah Rappaport is a New York–based architect and designer working at the intersection of architecture, interior design, furniture, and construction.
He received his Master of Architecture from Yale University in 2024 and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from McGill University in 2021, and also studied at University College London in 2020.
Jonah is currently a designer at Ash in New York City, where he specializes in design development for high-end hospitality and residential projects, with a focus on custom FF&E, millwork, and architectural detailing. He has also pursued several independent design-build projects he is especially proud of, including a 200-square-foot cabin in his home province of Quebec, and a convertible chair for which he holds both design and utility patents.
Outside of work, Jonah enjoys playing piano, guitar and violin. He is also an avid alpine skier, former water-skiing and rock climbing instructor, lifeguard, a passionate SCUBA diver and aspiring glider pilot.
He is fluent in French and English, and is currently learning German.
